Margie Sharpe

Margie Louise Phillips Sharpe, 84, of Statesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 22 at Novant Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born in Anson, NC, on September 19, 1940, to the late Walter Phillips and Sallie Ann Gilmore. She was married to Johnny Sharpe, who survives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Roten, and 10 brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son-in-law, David Roten of Statesville, and grandsons, Christopher Roten of Hamptonville, and Eric Roten of Statesville.

There are no formal services scheduled at this time.
