Dear Melissa and Family,No words can express the hurt in my heart for you and your falmiy during this extremely sad time. Alan was one of a kind I’ve never met anyone in my life who was so caring, thoughtful and just plain sweet! I appreciate all that you both did your generousity towards the cats, the many trips Alan made to PetSmart to buy food for your babies and include the many strays at 2001, going out of his way to stop at McLeod’s to bring me fresh peaches and strawberrys, sharing your wonderful peach cobbler and homemade ice cream when you were both down at the beach just so, so many things that meant the world to me. My prayers will be with you always and I appreciate your sharing Alan with all of us! He will be missed
Sorry for the loss of your husband. To lose your mate of 53 years(a lifetime) surely adds to the pain of death. 2Corinthians 1:4, calls God “the God of all comfort” One of the ways he comfort us in times of sorrow is the the hope he offers us concerning our loved ones-Acts 24:15 and Revevlation 21:4. May you find hope and comfort in these words. And may you also find comfort in family, friends and your many fond memories.
I am so sorry for your loss. May “the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God’s Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.
Joyce, Kenny, Robin and Michele, we are so sorry for your loss. He will be missed!
