Lattie Clodfelter

November 25, 1927 – April 20, 2017

Lattie Lee Hill Clodfelter “Granny”, 89, of Troutman, bid farewell on Thursday, April 20, 2017 to a long and well lived life on this earth. She is in the presence of the Lord with her beloved husband Joe Clodfelter “Pop” who preceded her in death.

Lattie was born November 25, 1927 in Sherrills Ford, NC to the late Lattimore Hill and Lottie Campbell Hill. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, and five brothers.

Lattie is survived by two sons, Gerald Clodfelter (Karen) and Kevin Clodfelter (Cathy). She was blessed with four grandchildren, Casey Clodfelter (Gretchin), Candice Clontz (Brian), Gavin Clodfelter, and Lily Clodfelter. Lattie enjoyed the love and laughter of four great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Mason, Aubrey, and Harley Grace in her advancing years. They affectionately called her Granny C. Lattie had many nieces who were ever present in her life, bringing her love and “goodies.” She was part of a large family who will treasure the memory of her unique personality and the many ways she touched their lives.

The family would like to thank her sweet caregivers at Jurney’s Assisted Living for the kindness and attention shown during her last year.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Carr officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Troutman 1st United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lattie’s memory may be made to Troutman 1st United Methodist Church, PO Box 717, Troutman, NC 28166.
